Colour change thermometry

For safety reasons, operating temperatures in certain areas must be monitored. An excellent way to perform this task is the use of inexpensive foil temperature indicator labels.

Reliable temperature measurement with foil labels does not require expensive gauges, electronics or a power supply. These self adhesive strips are simple to use and are visible at all times. We cannot list the complete range here but we have a few examples listed below:

High speed irreversible indicator strips
Temperature range: +40°C to +260°C
When temperature is reached the white dot turns black
The colour change is permanent.

High speed reversible indicator strips
Temperature range: -30°C to +90°C
The strip itself is black, when certain temperatures are reached then a colour change takes place.
The colour range runs from brown to green to blue.

Chillchecker
Temperature range: -17°C to +20°C
Chillcheckers are the perfect indicators for products where an increase in temperature cannot be tolerated, either during transport or storage. This is a most important factor when transporting deep freeze goods or medication in a warm climate.

TempaSure
Temperature range: -10°C to +10°C
TempaSures offer a highly reliable and irreversible indication of exposure to low temperatures.
Using a special mechanism, the indicator clearly shows when the product has been subjected to low temperatures. Such low temperatures could have a detrimental effect on goods such as pharmaceuticals, foods, chemicals or medical devices.
